Its 10am, and I'm back on.
After all the reading and deleting I did yesterday, I decided to take matters into my own hands and wink at 6 guys I actually thought were good looking and call it a day, we'll see if anything happens. Why waste my time with all these randoms?
One thing i have to point out is the Match.com interface sucks. There is no way to neatly organize the people you want to talk to, and throw away the rest. Its kind of crazy. And frustrating. You would think with all the technology we have at our fingertips, someone behind this moneymaker could do something productive for the people who might actually want to use this site for some good. Is this a conspiracy against attractive people?
I'd like to take this post opportunity to point out some of the interesting things I've been noticing since the two days I've been on match.
1. Don't post pics in scrubs. Period. Espeically if you're not even a doctor.
2. Your main pic shouldn't be one that you took of yourself in a mirror. Lets get serious.
3. Nor should it be one of you holding your camera out in front of you.
4. No more affliction tee shirts. Thanks.
5. If you're going to send me an email. Don't send me the identical email 4 hours later. Thats like applying for the same job, twice. You just look retarded.
6. Learn how to spell, people.
Its interesting because being on this website has reminded me what standards are.
Which, is why, I actually am going to go on a date Friday with someone who I already knew.
But, at least the upside is that five people asked me to go get a drink tonight. The downside is one of them already managed to find me on facebook, because not only did he recognize me from college, but is friends with my exboyfriend's exgirlfriend. Yup. A small world it is.
